Solid chair, but won't fold up.

i bought this chair because at a hefty 140kg, I figured it being rated to 200, I was pretty safe. It's certainly great to sit in..very comfy, but after it's first outing, I couldn't fold it up again. Material was trapped in it's mechanism, and one of the feet had twisted out of plumb. Got a replacement...and on the 3rd outing, same thing happened, rendering it useless. How hard is it to make a high weight rated chair that works?
