Goods & Services Tax (GST)

The prices quoted on this website for products include a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. This is payable for all orders being delivered to an Australian Address.

GST does not apply to purchases being delivered outside Australia. International Buyers should select the [International Prices] button on each product page to see the prices without GST.

Customs, International Duty

International shipping may be subject to local Custom’s levies. Please check with your local authority to ascertain applicable rates. Additional charges must be borne by the purchaser.

Delivery Policy

We use Auspost, TNT Express and Fedex.
Customers will need to provide a daytime delivery address and contact phone number including area code.

Freight charges are calculated automatically during the checkout process based on the total weight of goods you have purchased and your location. The total freight costs are listed for you during the checkout process before the order is finalised and processed.

Unforseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable. Should there be a delay in despatching your order we will contact you immediately to advise you of the reason for the delay. You may cancel such an order at any time prior to shipment for a full refund.

International airmail orders are traceable to the point where they have left Australia. The delivery of these orders are subsequently reliant on overseas postal services. Great Outdoors Direct will provide as much assistance as possible in tracing misdirected items but cannot be responsible for items lost by overseas postal services.

Please feel free to email us details of the products you require prior to ordering for a quoted freight amount or to request a quote for special shipping such as International Courier including insurance. We are happy to accommodate such requests.

International Orders – Additional Identification
Some international orders may require additional identification before being processed. The transmission of this information to Great Outdoors Direct may affect estimated delivery times. Great Outdoors Direct reserves the right to request additional identification prior to processing orders originating outside Australia.

Consumer Data/Privacy policy

Ordering Great Outdoors Direct products Online is designed to be as simple as possible, while striving for maximum security and privacy for all your details.

We will use this information only for the limited purposes of processing your orders, administering this site, and notifying you of products and special offers that may be of interest to you (only if you select to be included on our mailing list). Warranty Policy

All products are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for one full year from date of purchase, except customised items which have a 30 day supplier’s warranty. These warranties are in addition to those implied by law. Because we have no control over the installation and use of electronic equipment, these items may be subject to repair only. Although we regret that we cannot refund or exchange all electronic & mechanical items once they have been installed, we are happy to assist you with warranty and non-warranty repair claims.

We are happy to expedite warranty claims on all products sold by us. If you wish to make a warranty claim, you should contact us immediately to arrange return of the goods to us for assessment. Should the warranty claim prove valid we will, at our discretion, arrange for repair or replacement of the goods. Goods repaired or replaced under warranty will be supplied with a new 12 month warranty starting from the date of shipment of the repaired or replacement goods.



Our satisfaction guarantee is designed to eliminate the incorrect assumption that there's a difference between purchasing at a store and purchasing online.

For all orders with Great Outdoors Direct, we will do everything we can to assist you in resolving any issues you may come across. Should it be a warranty, damage or dissatisfaction issue, we are hear to assist you in any way we can.

We will assist in resolving any warranty issues quickly with the manufacturers, or recommend local repairers or do what ever we can to make sure you are completely satisfied.

So, as you can see, it's risk free. We promise that you'll be satisfied with your purchase and feel totally secure about purchasing with us again online.



Returns Policy

We will gladly refund, credit or exchange any goods upon prompt return of the goods if they fall into our warranty policy. Please choose carefully. Refunds are not given if you simply change you mind. All items sold are covered under a standard manufacturers warranty. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, due to faulty workmanship or materails, return it to us for an exchange or refund. We exchange or refund any original condition merchandise with a copy of your original invoice.

If it was purchased online, Send it back to our Standard Return address supplied. All returns will be credited back to the original payment type. Any shipping and handling fees that were paid during an online order are non-refundable. By sending returns back to the Standard Returns Address credit card purchases will receive credit back to the credit card used. Please note that if you return merchandise without a receipt or invoice, we can only provide the last known value of the item in the form of a merchandise credit.

Overseas Returns

Please contact us prior to returning goods to Great Outdoors Direct. Where a refund of goods is payable, all items are required to be returned by the recipient at their own expense using the same credit card used for the original order. Upon receipt of the returned goods, Great Outdoors Direct will refund the original cost of goods plus, in the case of warranty returns only,  the return freight charge.

No goods shall be refunded without prior agreement between the recipient and/or customer and Great Outdoors Direct. Please include all return postage receipts. Delivery and packaging charges are not refundable unless as a result of our error or warranty claim. All returns of international shipments are subject to our these terms and conditions.

A shipping & supply restriction applies to a 10 km radius surrounding postcode 6017, WA. Regretably cannot ship to postcodes within this radius.
