We are outdoor enthusiasts, having travelled and camped in many locations around the world. This experience has been in the form of luxurious glamour resorts to remote isolated locations. Coupled with this, we have been involved in outdoor retail for close on a decade, selling, buying and trying a wide range on camping outdoor products and brands.

The problem that exists in traditional shop front retail is that you are forced to carry stock and brands that you may not necessarily endorse of particularly like. This is due to the fact that as a retailer, customers need to be given a choice of products available, so you can cross sell, up sell or down sell. Selling methods are skewed toward margin, and stock on hand. Because of this, the customer does not always get the best or right advice on their sale. On occasions, if not buying, you just may not get given any advice! Pretty sad but true.
